The Study On Vertebrate Resources And Fauna Characteristics In Nature Reserve In Guan Yin Shan Mountain, Shaanxi

Through the research on Vertebrate Resources and Fauna Characteristics in Nature Reserve in Guan Yin Shan Mountain,Shaanxi,the results show that:there are 250 species of vertebrate in Nature Reserve in Guan Yin Shan Mountain,which belongs to 25 orders,73 families,171 genera,occuping 33.83%of total species of vertebrate in Shaanxi province(739 species).There are 33 species belongs to the national protection animal,among which 7 species areâ… class,26 species areâ…¡class.This also means that there are 6â… class and 8â…¡class species of mammals;1â… class and 16â…¡class species of birds;1â…¡class species of amphibian;1â…¡class species of fish.According to the analysis about the geological fauna of the vertebrate in the nature reserve,there are several characteristics:(1) The Oriental realm component dominate the faunaAmong the vertebrate(except of the fish,and the birds statistics by the reproduction birds)in the nature reserve,there are 137 species belongs to Oriental realm,58 species belongs to Nearctic realm,29 species belongs to others,which occuping respectively 64.43%, 26.01%,and 12.56%of the total species of the vertebrate in the nature reserve.The Oriental realm component dominate the fauna.(2) The geological component of the species is very complicated,and is the transition of north and south fauna,and the assemblage most of geological component of the speciesThe geological component of the species in Guan Yin Shan nature reserve is very complicated,and the transition characteristics is very clearly,which can be embodied by the species distribution.For example,in the bird fauna,there are north type:Lanius c.cristatus, Muscicapa sibirica,and high mountain type:Saticola torqnata stejnegeri,south-east tropical-subtropical type:Streptopelia c.chinensis,Traverse-Himalayan mountain type: Yuhina dademata verreaux,south China type:Parus venustulus,and travers two realm of Oriental and Nearctic species:Pucrasia macrolopla ruficollis,and Phasianus colchicus strauchi,and so on.Among the mammals in the nature reserve,there are north type,northeast type,and the high mountain type,also the old continent tropical-subtropical type,southeast tropical-subtropical type,Traverse-Himalayan mountain type,south China type.(3) There are many rare animals with high level of scientific value There are 33national protection animals in nature reserve,among which 7 species areâ… class,26 species areâ…¡class.The representative species are Ailuropoda melanoleuca, Rhinopithecus roxellana,Budorcas taxicolor,and Panthera tigris amoyensis.It is not only the nature gene bank of many rare animals for genetic diversity,but also the ideal place to study on the rule between animals and environment,the rule of changes of vegetation restoration and the fauna populations.(4) Being in the core of the many nature reserve of Qinling moutian,and the nature corridor of gene exchange between rare animalsGuan Yin Shan Mountain Nature Reserve lies to the east of Fuping National Nature Reserve,to the south of Zhouzhi National Nature Reserve,to the west of Tianhuashan Nature Reserve,to the north of Fuping Niangniangshan Nature Reserve.It is not only the fauna centre of Qinling giant panda,but also the important of the gene exchange corridor of golden monkey,antelope,and others animals,and also can buffer the pressure of neighbouring nature reserve.At meantime,National No.108 road across the reserve,which can make the reserve a very good place for experiment to study on the influence of road to animal immigrant.
