Minerogenetic Prognosis Of Porphyry Copper Deposit In Ba'erluke

Under the guide of the selection principles of a typical deposit, we take the Konyrat, Aqtogai, Koksai as the representations of typical porphyry copper deposits in Balkhash porphyry copper deposits belts, based on a comprehensive, systematic collection and study of geological and scientific research of typical porphyry copper deposits in this area, and under the guidance of the modern mineralization theory, we obtained the geological background, metallogenic environment, characteristics of those tapical deposits. Finally, we established a regional geological prospecting porphyry copper model to guide the porphyry copper metallogenic prognosis in Ba'erluke.Based on regional geological prospecting porphyry copper model and information science theory, we established the sptial databas of porphyry copper mineralization prognosis in Ba'erluke; Multi-sources data of geological, geophysical, geochemical, interpretation features were used to predict potential economic deposits. Combined with field investigation and analysis indoors, under the guidance of typical deposits, similar to analog geostatistical theory and mathematical principles and methods, we take the grid unit as geostatistical modules, through the analysis of multi-sources geo-information base on GIS platform,finally, we took geological and geochemical prediction units to spatial intersect, according to favorable ore-forming geological units and geological body spatial form, we completed the delineation of middle-scale porphyry copper mineralization of prospective areas in Ba'erluke, we find 6 A grades, and 8 B grades. Field investigation also confirmed that the Ba'erluke has a good prospecting prospect and potentiality. Prognosis map of prospecting targets in this paper will have a guiding significance to next plan of exploration.
