Quantum entanglement is an extensively-studied topic in the recent years in the advent of growing realizations and applications in the quantum information processing. The notion of entropy, originating from thermodynamics, has been reconsidered in the context of classical information theory and quantum information theory. The entropy has been successfully applied in the description of different properties of the quantum optical fields. Also it has been applied to the evolution of the radiation field with the Kerr-like medium as well as with the two-level atom. Moreover, the concept of the entropy has been developed and applied to the atom-field interaction. One of the elementary models in quantum optics, which describes the interaction between the radiation field and the matter, is the Jaynes-Cummings model (JCM). The JCM is a rich source for the nonclassical effects. The JCM is a subject of continuous studies. Previous investigations for the JCM have been shown that the von Neumann entropy, the linear entropy, and the atomic Wehrl entropy provide typical dynamical behaviors. In this paper, the time-evolution of linear entropies of the atom, two cavities and atom-cavity system in two entangled dissipative cavities and a single two—level atom passing through one of them is investigated by means of quantum theory. The influence of the dissipative constant of the cavity on all linear entropies are discussed in the resonant case. The results show that the linear entropies of both the field and the atom are strengly depend on the dissipative constant of the cavity and the coupling strength between the field and the atoms, but the dissipative constant influences not only the amplitude of the oscillation of the field quantum entropy evolution but also its periodicity.
