| The physical conception is not only the base, but also an important part of physics. The teaching of physical conception is always very important and difficult, especially the teaching of abstract conception always confuses teachers and students. The conception of potential is a basic and abstract conception in physics. In college physics, it contains: gravitational potential, electric potential, magnetic vector potential and magnetic scalar potential, postponed potential, electromagnetic potential and so on. The variety of potential kinds increases the learning difficulties.In this paper, on the basis of theory of the conception teaching, physics learning theory and the teaching methods in college physics, we give a detailed description of the conceptions of potential in college physics, distinguish the similar conception, and do some monographic studies on potential related knowledge; We also have investigated the current situation of teaching On potential conception by the method of questionnaire investigation. It is found that there are obstacles in the learning potential conceptions. We further analyzed the main reasons of the obstacles. At last, at the basis of theory and analysis of questionnaire investigation, we give some constructive suggestions of teaching.I hope this study could provide some reference in the teaching and learning of the conception of potential. |
