Now many oil fields have entered into high and extra-high water-cut period.Remaining oil in reservoir rocks became high dispersing state, which makes tapping potentiality more and more difficult.The world's oil-producing countries have paid attention to these problem which study remaining oil and increase recovery ratio. Taking 8 oil layers of Putaohua Oil layer and Saertu Oil layer in North-three-West western area for an example, the article, using sedimentology, combining with sequence stratigraphy, logging geology, petroleum geology and reservoir geology, deeply research stratigraphic framework, microfacies, architecture and remaining oil.The target layer of this study is a set of complex composite channel sand,a single sand body space identification, causes and precise characterization is very difficult. This thesis is based on the core, drilling, logging,and so on,which characterized by high-resolution information, connected with this area's sedimentary background, we set up sedimentary microfacies patterns and sedimentary model; on the condition of third infilling pattern, plot out and contrast chief reservior subtly by monosandbody rank, The high-resolution stratigraphic framework of the region is established. Through the relations between lithology and electricity, we set up logging microfacies patterns:two facies, four intrafacies and ten microfacies. then do monosandbody discernment well by well and layer by layer, at last combine the plane pattern and draw sedimentation units plane sedimentary microfacies charts. During the course of this research, the identification of absolute branch channel and abandoned channel is crucial. On the basis of sedimentary microfacies, doing architectural research on large and complex sand body and the inside of monosandbody, identifying the fourth grade lateral accretion body and thin separate bedding inside the monosandbody, defining scale and distribution charaterustucs of lateral accretion body . Using waterflooding data ,we get distribution graph of waterflooding hierarchy, then getting remaining oil distribution. In the end, according to the practice, utilizing the results in research, we analyze five kinds geofacter which influce remaining oil distribution and summarize six kinds distributed types of remaining oils in plane.
