Complex network becomes a new researching focus, it causes a considerabale interest in many fields, such as science and engineering. The study of the dynamic behavior of complex network, such as the synchronization, has important theoretical and practical significance for one profoundly understanding and application of it.The paper can be divided into three parts. In the first part, we present the researeh background and fundamental theories of the complex networks. In the second part, we discuss the properties and the synchronization of the regular network, random network, small-world network and seale-fteenetwork. The third part, mainly discuss the general synchronization criterion for general topology networks, especially those with homogeneous time-delays, we present pinning control of complex network with general topology and heterogeneous time-delay in both continuous-time and discrete-time domains. Mainly contributions are the gaven of simple feedback controllers and some generic stability criteria based on the ideas of MSF( master stability function)and the LMI(linear matrix inequalities) criterion. In the part of the numerical simulation, mainly applies the MATLAB LMI Toolbox software that shows the effectiveness of the method.
