More and more scholars who from engineering, life science, communication dynamics and so on begun to focus on the adaptive synchronization of complex networks,. Adaptive synchronization of complex networks with time delay will be studied in this paper. It is well known that the delay can be divided into constant delay and varying delay, which is a widespread phenomenon of the nature. In real application,because of the influence of limited speed and network congestion delay, all nodes in the complex networks cannot always accurately and rapidly achieve the desired collective synchronization behavior. Therefore, the delay how to influence the synchronous dynamic complex networks and how to efficiently perform synchronous control has become the key point in the research of complex networks.Based on the previous research results, the following two problems are mainly discussed: The first, by designing adaptive controller with parameter estimator in uncertain network topology, adaptive synchronization of complex dynamic networks accompanied with delay nodes and delay coupling are discussed to better solve practical problems. In addition, the simulation data demonstrates the effectiveness of the conclusion. The second, on the base of the pinning control, not only the number of control nodes on the networks are reduced, but also the synchronization of the complex network delay is realized. If this control used, then the actual production costs of investment can be greatly reduced.
