As the "digital mine" goes deep into the practice, the need of management and service of spatial information becomes more and more urgent for mining enterprises, especially the monitoring information of ground disaster, surface subsidence in mine and unstability of open-pit mine slope etc mining ground disaster are directly have effect on the normal work. How to effectively manage and utilize the ground disaster monitoring information is great significance for the safety production and management of mine.Geographical grid has been successfully used for urban digital management obtaining good effects. Depending on geographical grid technology to realize the management of mine space information, especially the mine ground disaster monitoring information, which have important application value for perfecting and deepening of mine geographical information technology.This paper applying geographical grid technology, aiming at management of the mine ground disaster monitoring information, combining with the surface disaster types in pen-pit mine, characteristics, main distribution and the surface characteristic division system of the study area which has been established, preliminarily experimenting analysis and researches the dividing methods of the basic geographic grid, application grid and encoding rule in the open-pit, as well, establishes an initial prototype management system.In the boundary of open-pit, characteristic division of mine can be treated as working grid, working grid and mine boundary grid are the basic grid. In the basic grid, regular grid can be divided with fixed length and width. According to intensive degree of the management object in basic grid, differentiate 100×100 (width is 100) and 200×200(width is 200) two basic unit grid. We would choose an area of having monitoring information for researching trial, according to the monitoring data, if unit grid have the similar stability, we will combined them, or we will split the grid, then areas can be divided into application grid of stability level which we could make good use of monitoring information. In the no ground monitoring information area, we will use basic unit grid. Defining the mining components and events, and presenting the corresponding coding rules. Through geocoding, the relationship between mine geographical grid with components and events can come true.This paper designs initial prototype management system of mining disaster monitoring information and develops the preliminary prototype management system, realizing the management of ground disaster monitoring information, orientation and query etc the basic function, Moreover, this paper makes a application test which explain the feasibility of the method.
