Geosciences data organization is the foundation and insurance of digital earth, digital region and digital mine. Based on the Simple Features Specification of Open GIS and its extension, the integral organization of the surface and subsurface spatial data is preliminary studied for multi-scale geosciences spatial data and its visualization management.According to OGC Specification, the standardization of spatial data storage is established, and the effective organization and management of geo-spatial data are accomplished. According to the sources and features of surface and subsurface spatial data, it is clearly defined as three levels:the first-level data, the second-level data and third-level data, and it is pointed out that the organization of spatial data should include the three levels of data. Based on the extension of Simple Features Specification of Open GIS, the structure of spatial data can be expressed with unified pattern. By using of topological triangle sets to achieve the seamless integration of surface and subsurface spatial data, the integration architecture, framework and mechanism of surface and subsurface spatial data are discussed, which is independent of spatial model. Based on improving to traditional borehole data management approach, the association editing, validation and management of borehole data in three-dimensional visualization environment are proposed.A data integration and management platform is developed for testing the techniques and methods discussed in this paper. With the provided data conversion interfaces, the data communications between a variety of databases and the data conversion with other geographic information formats are achieved. The editing schema of the borehole data in visualization mode is applied for easy adding, deleting, and updating of borehole data. With Yimin mine being an example, multi-source data standardization organizations and integrated management of surface and subsurface objects is done.
