The Study On The Methods Of Data Organization In Geo-Spatial Framework Of Digital City

Geo-spatial Framework consisting of Geo-spatial datum and Geo-spatial Data Framework is fundamental basis of "Digital City". It provides a uniform spatial position criterion for spatial and other non-spatial data, and it accelerates conformity and share of all sorts of information sources.First of all, the paper introduces the current organization methods of spatial data which is the most essential part of Geo-spatial Framework. Then on the basis of analyzing the characteristics respectively, it summarizes advantages and disadvantages of them in being.Secondly, the paper emphatically introduces the function and characteristic of Geo-spatial Framework data and divides it into base geo-spatial data, thematic data and socioeconomic property data.Thirdly, in order to manage these data better, the paper advances the organization methods of data of commixed Database of Geo-spatial Framework model by integrating some advanced database technologies such as RDBMS and the Spatial Database Engine, namely on the basis of database and the data of Geo-spatial Framework divided in a preceding part of this paper, it describes layer-delaminating, block-dividing, slice-connecting, map-dividing and BLOB etc. to organize spatial data, including DLG, DOM, DEM, and thematic data, taking example for the data of urban planning. At the same time it also realizes integrated management of these data.Finally, combined with related project, the paper implements these foregoing methods advanced in this paper and verifies the reliability and the feasibility of them.
