Vibrating screen plays an important role in coal preparation plant at all levels. In the course of their work, vibrating screen's parts always has beared the harsh alternating load. Screen frame deformation, beams fracture and other structural damage is inevitable. However,take the present vibrating screen used for example, the life of the domestic product is far less than the similar products abroad. Foreign large vibrating screen used advanced design technology and manufacturing technology to produce large-scale excellent vibrating screen, its trouble-free running time is 3, 000h above, overhaul period is 20,000h, Domestic similar products on the same technical indicators are far below the target. Therefore, the research, design, manufacture large-scale linear vibrating screen has become an important topic.In this paper, Henan Xinxiang Taihang Vibrating Machinery Co., Ltd's exclusive patent products - synchronous banana vibrating screen was studied, finite element theory methods as well as ANSYS software was aplicated to analysis banana vibrating screen dynamic characteristics. First, vibrating screen modal analysis is carried out and banana vibrating screen's inherent natural frequency aswell as vibration type is obtained, then, found screen frames and side panels'operating frequency is too close its natural frequency, In this way, the structure prone to resonance and will have a greater noise. By adding strengthen the board to side panels and increasing two vertical rectangular strengthen beam, so that the difference of natural frequency and the operating frequency was more than 10%, the resonance was avoided, the noise was reduced. Then, the stress analysis and harmonic response analysis is applicated on modified model, basically there is no stress concentration and large deformation during vibrating screen normal operation, it does not produce harmonic resonance. Vibrating screen natural frequency and stress distribution can meet the normal work conditions. The results of theoretical analysis proved the correctness of the structure improved. The round beam on the banana vibrating screen frame is optimized, the optimization model was explored and set up. Circular beam cross-sectional dimensions is seen as design variables, round beam deformation is seen as the state variables, volume is considered the objective function, then, circular beam cross-sectional dimensions are optimized and analyzed the optimization results.After a optimization, Stress concentration phenomenon has been effectively improved, weight was reduced, manufacturing costs was cut down, market competitiveness was improved.Through the dynamic characteristic analysis and optimization of the self-synchronizing the banana-shaped vibrating screen, some useful conclusions is obtained, provides a theoretical basis for improving vibrating screen design, as well as provides a good research methods for improving other types of vibrating screen design.
