The mesoporous molecular sieve SBA-15 has very wide potential applications in the catalytic chemistry, sorption and bio-molecular separation field due to its unique properties, such as large surface area, highly ordered mesostructure, large pore volume, uniform pore size and controllable morphology, easily functionalized surface, high thermal stability, and so on.Enzyme lipase has been widely used in food processing, medicine, biochemistry and other fields because of its mild catalytic conditions and no pollution. However, most of the free enzymes are water-soluble, unstable and can not be reused. So it is difficult to be widely used in industry. The immobilization of lipase can improve the operational stability of enzymes and pH stability greatly, and is easy to separate from the production, which is beneficial to the reuse. The article includes three parts:First, the mesoporous molecular sieve SBA-15 was synthesized by using surfactant P123 as template, TEOS as silica source under acidic conditions. XRD,N2 adsorption, transmission (TEM),scanning (SEM),infrared (FT-IR) methods were used to characterize the samples. The results showed that the products had highly ordered mesostructure with high surface area, large pore volume, narrow pore size distribution, highly thermal stability and hydrothermal stability.Second, The relative activity of immobilized lipase on mesoporoous SBA-15 were studied by different mixing time, enzyme concentration and pH of solution. Under the optimum immobilization conditions, the pH, operational and storage stabilities of immobilized enzyme are greatly improved compared to the free enzyme. We also studied the immobilization of lipase on the other mesoporous materials, such as SBA-16, MCM-48 and MCM-41.comparied with their immobilized result.
