The thesis concludes four parts:1,The polyvinyl chloride(PVC) membrane copper(Ⅱ) ion-selective electrode based on N,N'-bis(N-isopropyl-N-2-hydroxyethyl)-1,3-benzenedicarboxamide(L1) as membrane carrier was prepared. The influences of the nature of plasticizers and the amounts of the incorporated ionophore and ionic additive(KTpClPB) on the response characteristics of the electrode were studied. The results indicated that the electrode exhibited excellent Nernstian response with the response slope of 27.2 mv/decade in the range of 1.0×10-4~1.0×10-1 mol/L, and the detection limit was 6.0×10-5 mol/L. The electrode had a highly selectivity for Cu2+ over alkali, alkline earth and common transition metal ions. The electrode could work in a certain concentration of formaldehyde aqueous solutions and could be used as the indicator electrodes in titration of Cu2+ and for the determination of Cu2+ in real samples. The results were basically consistent with the conventional titration method and atomic absorption spectrometry.2,The characteristics of PVC membrane lead(Ⅱ) ion-selective electrode based on N,N'-bis(N-isopropyl-N-2-hydroxyethyl)-5-ferrocenyl-1,3-benzenedicarboxamide (L2) as neutral carrier was studied. The electrode exhibited excellent Nernstian response and fairly good selectivity with the response slope of 25.0 mv/decade in the range of 1.0×10-5~1.0×10-2mol/L, and the detection limit was 6.7×10-6 mol/L. The electrode had a highly selectivity for Pb2+ over alkali, alkline earth and common transition metal ions. The electrode could work in a certain concentration of formaldehyde aqueous solutions and could be used as the indicator electrodes in titration of Pb2+ and for the determination of Pb2+ in real samples. The results were basically consistent with the conventional titration method.3,The PVC membrane aluminium(Ⅲ) ion-selective electrodes were developed by using 2,5-bis(2-pyridyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole(L3),1,5-diphenylcarbazone(L4),1,2-bis-(2-aminophenoxy)ethane(L5) as neutral carriers. The electrodes displayed excellent Nernstian response over the concentration range of 1.0×10-5~1.0×10-2,1.0×10-6~1.0×10-2,1.0×10-6~1.0×10-3 mol/L with the response slopes of 22.3,21.6, 21.4 mv/decade, respectively, and the detection limits were 7.1×10-6,4.4×10-7,2.3×10-7 mol/L. The electrodes had a highly selectivity for Al3+ and could work in a certain concentration of ethanol aqueous solutions. The electrodes could be used as the indicator electrodes in titration of Al3+ and for the determination of Al3+ in real water. The results were basically consistent with the atomic absorption spectrometry.4,The preparation of PVC membrane silver(Ⅰ) ion-selective electrodes based on 1,2-bis(3-aminophenoxy)ethane(L6),1,2-bis(2-formylphenoxy)ethane(L7) as carriers were reported. The electrodes displayed excellent Nernstian response with the response slopes of 59.9,53.0 mv/decade in the range of 1.0×10-6~1.0×10-3,1.0×10-6~1.0×10-3 mol/L, respectively, and the detection limits were 8.5×10-7,6.0×10-7 mol/L. The electrodes had a highly selectivity for Ag+ over alkali, alkline earth and common transition metal ions. The electrode based on L7 as carrier had the better selectivity than the standard Ag2S-based solid-state electrodes for Hg2+. The electrodes could also work in≤30% ethanol aqueous solutions. The electrodes could be used as the indicator electrodes in titration of halide ions in the tap water and Vitamin B6 in Vitamin B6 tablets with Ag+. The electrodes could be used for the determination of Ag+ in real samples. The results were satisfied.
