Take Panjin Wetland Resource For Example Study The Education On Wetland In Senior Middle School

Wetland, one of three ecosystems in the world, is of great ecological value, so it is significant to carry out the education on wetland according to the local situation. Our country is rich in wetland resource, but falls behind in its education.Panjin wetland covers a total of 3150 square kilometers, occupying 80% of the area of Panjin, which is also called"international key wetland and the most beautiful one in china".The splendid sight and the state-level nature preservation area in Shuangtaizi river mouth takes up 128,000 hectares, which is also one of the best preserved wetlands in the world. Panjin has the biggest reed marsh and the beautiful marvelous beach sight"the red beach"in the world. Meanwhile, it has many state-level protected animals, and it is a model teaching material in geography.Aiming at this, this paper analyses the wetland resource in Panjin and based on this, introduces the activities as well as the experience in carrying out the wetland education in senior middle school.High school education strategy of wetland can be adopted:①tap the wetland education potentials in the school textbook. The article mainly analysis education material on wetland and puts up with geography teaching strategies at the same time;②collect data about wetland and make integration. The process mainly contains the searching in the net, the books and reference materials and stimulating the students to probe and collect material on the spot. Through some activities such as writing compositions about wetland or going camping, we can cultivate their abilities to analyze and solve such geography problems;③inspect wetland. We organize four wetland inspections and propose the inspection plan and make a conclusion of it;④education achievement exhibition of wetland. Our school sponsors"wetland education display", which includes the wetland outline, the wetland transformation and reform, the wetland traveling promotion as well as wetland inspection;⑤and the related work of wetland by teachers and students. As for this, we select three typical related articles on wetlands teaching which respectively referred to the students'changes, cultivating the students'innovation ability as well as wetland education in a cultural perspective, educated separately from the wetland to student's change.
