With the rise of large-scale industrial production, global environment is deteriorating and environmental issues cause the concern of many people. While in the process of the research for solutions to environmental problems, people take cognizance that education is the best choice as well as the most effective way. Environmental knowledge and environmental ethics could be popularized by education. So the rise of environmental education has become inevitable. It is an important task for the international environmental education to strengthen the environmental education in middle school. On the basis of reviewing Chinese environmental education in middle school, the thesis sums up the impact factors of the implementation of environmental education in middle school and points out the corresponding countermeasures. The thesis includes three parts:The first part mainly expounds the concept of the environmental education, its development process and its characteristics, as well as the theoretical basis. Because of the deterioration of the global environment, environmental education has aroused widespread concern, the meaning of which is constantly extending, and it has become the core of the strategy of sustainable development. Ecological ethics and ethics of sustainable development is the main theoretical basis. Ecoethics breaks the traditional boundaries of ethics, finds the right solution to a series of major issues in the new era and put forth a new view of nature, values, moral values. Such opinions build a theoretical foundation for environmental education. No society could develop the economy only or just protect the environment against the economy. We must emphasize economic growth and environmental quality by combining the basis of economic development, ecological environment conditions in order to achieve a sustainable co-ordination the development of society, sustainable development concept of environmental education is also important theoretical guidance. Its five characteristics are realistic, comprehensive, practical, scientific and regional.The second part focuses on the impact factors of the implementation of environmental education in middle school. Firstly, the problems on education itself are analyzed. Education has been with the utilitarian since the date of birth. Although the utilitarian is the necessary of reality in a way, it isn't favorable to cultivate people's mind, and neglects the function of education in the humanities in order to ease the soul to seek individual self-sufficiency, which have a negative impact to the environmental education. Secondly, campus culture, which is the social and cultural sub-system, is a key factor, and it can promote or hinder the environmental education. Headmaster, as the school's principal leader, will directly affect the thought of teachers. And teachers, who directly face students, are the decisive role, because their belief and literacy knowledge play vital role in carrying out environmental education. Finally, the thesis discusses the impact of the curriculum for the environmental education. Environmental education curriculum is not only reflected the teaching objectives, but also the development of teaching materials, teaching content, the preparation of content, teaching and curriculum evaluation. Students aware and understand the various things of the natural environment and social environment, understand and grasp a deeper level of environmental science knowledge, establish a scientific environmental ethics, environmental ethics and develop a practical environmental quality by the environmental education curriculum.The third part put forward the corresponding countermeasures that are aimed at the impact factors of the environmental education. First of all, it is necessary to seek unify between education and teaching. Secondly, it is pointed out that the quality of teachers on environmental education must be improved. It is an inevitable requirement of the education reform to improve the quality of teachers, which can be achieved through teacher training. Environmental education has become an important part of the implementation in primary and secondary education and it is the education required to qualify teachers in environmental education. Lastly, basing on the problems about environmental education curriculum, the thesis explores the local school-based environmental education curriculum, i.e. its development principles and methods.
