Thanks to the discovery and rapid development of controlled/"living" polymerizations, a variety of complex polymers can be synthesized by a combination of multiple living polymerization techniques.Graft copolymers with homogenous density an length of graft chains can be synthesized by grafting from. Graft copolymers containing PEO can be widely used in adhesives, anti-biological surface proteins, chromatography equipments, lubricants, surfactants and polymer compatibilizing agents in the field. In this paper, we successfully synthesized graft copolymers with PEO as main chain by a combination of several living polymerization techniques and grafting from. The main results are as follows:1. In chapter two, three kinds of amphiphilic graft copolymers with PEO as main chains:PEO-g-PS, PEO-g-PMMA and PEO-g-PtBA, and a kind of double hydrophilic graft copolymer PEO-g-PAA were synthesized by the combination of AROP and RAFT.2. In chapter three, a kind of amphiphilic graft copolymer with PEO as main chains, PS and PCL as graft chains was firstly synthesized by the combination of AROP, CROP and NMP.
