The coal is the basic energy in China, which occupies about 70% in the structure of primary energy production and consumption. However, mine accidents caused by gas occur frequently. In addition to strengthening safety management and technical training, but the more important is that simulating and testing the main parameters of the mines environment accurately, which include electrostatic, gas concentration, temperature and so on. The purpose of this paper is to study and design a simulation system of electrostatic discharge to detonate gas, which can measure concentration of the gas explosion in different oxygen concentrations, temperature. And also can measure electrostatic potential, resistance and capacitance values of human body. The gas concentration can be gotten which most likely detonate gas, to make standards for human body electrostatic safety in coal mine environment and provide theoretical and experimental basis for coal mine production safety.SOPC (System on a Programmable Chip), a flexible and efficient technology, was used in this paper. It is that the modules such as the Nios II soft-core processor, memory, peripheral controllers are embedded in an FPGA device, to constitute the core of the system circuit. It was processed in Nios II system that the data of the collected gas, oxygen and temperature form the data acquisition module. And the results are displayed real-time on in the LED screen. It was determined that the system's overall research design based on the analysis of the system requirements. the FPGA, sensors, A/D and other related hardware devices are selected. Altera's Quartus II 9.0 system hardware development tools, Nios II IDE software development tools and C language to develop and debug the hardware and software was used to complete the design of the system. On this basis, the development and the realization that such as the data acquisition module of gas, oxygen and temperature, Nios II controller module, LED display modules are introduced detailedly in this paper. It shows the related software simulation and hardware debugging results. The hierarchical, modular design idea was used in the system which embeds the Nios II soft-core processor system in FPGA. And the on-chip hardware and software designs are completed. The results show that it meets all of the system functions requirements. Finally, according to the results of research and design of the system, the characteristics of the system were analyzed and summarized. conclusions are given. and proposed further study of the system are discussed.
