More and more clothes production enterprises face competitions and pressure because of the development of market economy in China. In order to gain advantages over their rivals, some of the enterprises introduce the automation technology into their clothes production. As the one of the most important assisted tools in clothes manufacturing process, the cloth cutting machine directly decides the quality of the producing clothes, and production efficiency. The high speed and precision cloth cutting machine will help to force the update of the garment industry.To improve the machining accuracy and speed of the cloth cutting machine, the contour control and speed control problems of its feeding servo system are considered based on summary of relevant literature both at home and abroad. The main contents and contribution of this thesis are as follows:1. The elector-mechanical structure of the cutting machine's feeding servo system is studied, which includes the transmission structure, the mechanical parameters and the electrical parameters. The model of the feeding servo system is established.2. A new optimization algorithm is studied to solve the contour error control problem. The contour error model and the matching of multi-axis control parameters are taken full consideration. Both the capability to follow repeated desired trajectory of iterative learning control (ILC) and the ability to match the multi-axis system parameters of the cross couple control (CCC) are fully displayed. The simulation results show that the new algorithm studied can effectively improve the contour error control precision.3. The pretreatment idea is adopted to solve the speed control problem of successive small segment. The capacity of the mechanical structure to withstand shocks is taken into account, so that not only the processing is able to maintain a high speed, but also avoid overshot.4. A contour error controller is designed based on TMS320F2812 to verify the contour control algorithm and the speed control algorithm. These two algorithms are applied on the cloth cutting machine CNC platform. The experimental results show that the contour control accuracy is improved due to the introduction of the cascade iterative learning contour error control algorithm; the processing efficiency is greatly amended by the speed control algorithm.5. Briefly summarizing the whole thesis, and giving some suggestions to help further improvement of the whole system.
