Heterocyclic compounds have a wide range of biological and pharmacological activities. So, scientists are very concerned about the synthesis of these compounds. They have occupied a dominant position in the development of chemical pesticides and medicine. These heterocyclic compounds and their derivatives are widely applied as pesticides, pharmaceuticals, dyes and other fine chemical products intermediates. In recent decades, with the mushrooming of the number of heterocylic compound, its sorts become more and more complex. The scope of application of heterocyclic compound continuously expands. So studying of the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds is very important.Most organic reactions are carried out in organic solvents. And with different catalysts, it is well-known that organic solvent is flammability, volatility and toxicity, some catalyst is not only expensive but also toxic. No matter releasing or recycle, it will be harmful to the environment and our health. PEG-400, as known low-toxic, easily degradable, non-volatile, non-combustible and inexpensive, can be used as green reaction media. Microwave irradiation heating has the advantage of fast reaction speed, Easy to control, high yield, convenient operation, little pollution,it has been widely applied to organic synthesis. Therefore, both of them meet the demands of green chemistry.This dissertation integrate our lab research work foundation and feature, carrying on new reseach task, a series of organic heterocyclic compounds. were synthesized catalyzed by PEG-400 and under Microwave Irradiation. This dissertation is classified into three chapters: Chapter 1 Literature SurveyIn this chapter we review the development and application in the area of microwave irradiation in the organic synthesis in recent years in detail. As well as the progress of studies on the synthesis of imidazoles and quinoxaline. Chapter 2 The synthesis of imidazole deratives promoted by PEG-400 under microwave irradiationThis chapter reported the synthesis of imidazole deratives catalyzed by PEG-400 and under microwave Irradiation. The methods compared to the reaction with the use of other catalysts and organic solvents,has the advantage of avoiding the use of organic solvents, the catalysts are cheap and no pollution, simple working-up procedure, easy purification of products, excellent yields.It is an ideal potential applications green synthesis method of imidazole deratives. Chapter 3 The synthesis of quinoxaline deratives catalyzed by PEG-400The method, compared to the reaction with the use of other catalysts, avoid the use of solvent which can pollute the environment, and the catalysts are cheap and no pollution, and the disposal process is simple. The methodology is in accordance with the requirement of green chemistry.
