As a band-spaced and three-dimensional object,a rail transit in city covers vast stretch so much so that its construction or operation will have impact on the environment along the line and nearby. With the rapid development of the rail transit in our country, the subway transportation planning and its construction should be accompanied by the positive assessment about the impacts on environment to avoid the possible ruin on the peripheral ecological environment so that the harmonious development among the socioeconomic , natural environment and the subway transportation along the subway will become both theoretically valuable and really significant. On the basis of construction items of Hang Zhou metro projects, this essay will analyze the assessment of the environment impacts comprehensively, and suggest a comprehensive framework system and a technological rout chart about the environment impact assessment of subway projects.By investigating the environmental quality, the mapping of the buildings, the functional requirements of the environment and the existing pollution around the involved districts, with the understanding of the potential environmental impacts from the subway constructions and concerning about the ecology,non-noise and non-vibration environment along the city, this essay will predict the influential scope and extent according to the ecology of the city, the noise and vibration environment, the water environment , the air and the solid wastage. With the consideration for the general planning and environmental protection, the essay will analyze the environmental protection in the engineering designs and provides other better available scheme or measures against pollution than those which do not live up to the expectation of the environmental requirements.
