Laser processing technology is one new m aterials processing. The characteristic of laser processing makes more requirements for processing table. Since the general CNC machine tools are bulky, expensive, they are difficult to m eet the laboratory laser processing research.The research object of this paper is "TDJG-I Multi Axis C NC Machine", which designed by Tianjin Auto-Measurem ents&Vision Technology Co.,Ltd. And the purpose of this paper is to design one operation control system for this CNC machine, meeting the requirements of laser processing in laboratory. The paper selected GALIL DMC-1842 m otion control card and Fuji F ALDIC-W CNC servo system for design. According to this CNC machine's characteristics, the paper first designed the electr ical principle an d the hard ware structure, completed selection of hardware elem ents, finish ed building up and debugging the control system. Then following in Visual Studio 2008 integrated developm ent environment, this paper designed the contro l system software, so as to meet the requ irements for laser processing in laboratory.During the num erical control system's design and developm ent process, this paper presented one method or concept for numerical equipments'remote monitoring based on OpenGL. With combination of OpenGL's powerful graphics processing and closed loop feedback signal, we achieved the real-time online monitoring and control for numerical equipments. Since the Open GL graphics support any transform ation, with reasonable translations, rotations, zoom models, we ca n realize the local details of numerical equipments for real-time monitoring.Apart from the trad itional C++ platf orm for DMC CNC a pplication programs development, this paper made some study for DMC CNC application programs based on .Net Fram ework managed programming CLR platform. These conclusions will provide valuable references for designers.Laser processing experim ent's result show s that the contro l system's precision can meet the laser processing's precision requirement, and the trajecto ry control's result of this CNC machine is accurate. The control system can be used in laborato ry for a variety of laser processing research.
