Research On New Technology Of Hydraulic Grinding And Washing Of Crude Salt

It is well known that roller mill or hammer mill is usually used in the process of grinding and washing salt production. That traditional technology of mechanical grinding has its inherent disadvantages. This paper presents a new sort of process of crude salt grinding and washing brine jet comminuting. Based on the principle of high-speed collision between crude salt particles and target, a new kind of brine jet mill has been designed and manufactured. A lot of experiments has been carried out to make a deep research on the characters of brine jet comminuting with different parameters including pressure. nozzle diameter. structure of target, and so on. Combining theoretical analysis with experiments, the effects of the following parameters on brine jet comminuting is made clear. The result of the research shows that brine-jet comminuting technology is a new kind of technology, which has a good prospective of application and development. And just because the brine jet comminuting remains double functions of both grinding and washing, it simplifies the process as well as reduces consume of energy. brine jet comminuting has also many other advantages such as lower content of impurity and better surface quality of products~ less air pollution , compared to mechanical grinding.
