Captopril (CRY) 1 ?L (2S) ?3 ?mercapto ?2?methylpropionvlj ?L ?proline is an angiotensin converting-enzyme inhibitor. Experimental resLlhs indicate that there is one polarogra phic reduction peak in HC1O4, however, two polarographic reduction peaks in NaOH In this paper. CRY is studied about the behavior of polargraphic peak ,the behavior of adsorption and the condition of test. By electro-capillaritv curve ~surface active agent ~ scan rate ,accumulation time of a merdrop . experimental results show that the adsorption of CRY is the adsorption ofpositive ion. The repetitive cyclic voltammetrv of the system shows that electrode process is quasi-reversible process. The tests of acidity and temperature indica~-~ that it will be favour of CPT?s conversion from ?SH to ?S ?S ?,provided thaI pH is raised and temperature is raised. Therefore, the electrode mechariisni i~ inkrred and the method of determination of CRY is set up. This method has heeti applied to quantitative analysis of CRY tablet and of CRY in urine and in serum samples with satisfying results.
