Drug is a special commodity, which was used to prevent, cure, and diagnose diseases,or to enhance organism immunity. The quality of medicine must be regulated, because its quality could impact on human health and life. Therefore, looking after simple, accurate and convenient analytical method has very important meaning for monitoring of pharmaceutical quality.Fluorescence analysis has been widely used in pharmaceutical analysis because of high sensitivity, good selectivity, less sample and did not require complex pre-treatment to sample. It is an important method in the pharmaceutical identification and determination. And electrochemical analysis,an economical, speedy, simple and convenient method has became more and more attractive. In this paper, several of drugs were determined by using electrochemical analysis and fluorescent spectroelectrochemistry method. The paper is consisted of two parts, which are literature review and research report, respectively. In the first part(Chapter 1),a literature review, the classification and the progress of the fluorescence analysis are reviewed, and the applications of the methods mentioned are introduced by way of example. The second part, the research report is consisted of four chapters. In Chapter 2,the main instruments, the reagents used in the experiment and the approaches of experiment are introduced. In Chapter 3,a simple and sensitive electrochemical method was described by using differential pulse voltammetry for the determination of captopril(CPT).The presented method is based on the adsorption and oxidation of CPT at a gold electrode. The electrochemical behavior of CPT on the electrode was investigated with cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry.Under the optimized experimental conditions, the voltammetric response was proportional to the concentration of CPT over the range from 0.217 to 3.04 mg/L with a correlation coefficient of 0.9991,and detection limit was estimated to be 0.152 mg/L at a signal/noise ratio of 3.The relative standard deviation was less than 2.41%(n=5)and the recovery was in the range of 96.5?101%for the determination of CPT in pharmaceutical preparations. In Chapter 4,a simple and sensitive spectroelectrochemistry method has been described by combining electrolysis and fluoremetry for the determination of vitamin C(Vc).This method is based on that Vc was oxidized at a glassy carbon electrode, and its product reacted with o-phenylenediamine to produce quinoxalin with a characteristic fluorescence at 430 nm.Under optimizing the electrochemical reaction conditions and fluorescent experiment parameters, the fluorescence intensity was proportional to the concentration of Vc over the range from 0.070 to 1.60 mg/L with a correlation coefficient of 0.9991.and detection limit was estimated to be 0.047 mg/L at a signal/noise ratio of 3.The relative standard deviation was less than 1.43%and the recovery was in the range of 89.7?105.6%for the determination of Vc in pharmaceutical preparations and drinks. In Chapter 5,a fluorescent spectroelectrochemistry method was employed for the determination of acetaminophen(PCM).This method is based on that PCM can be electro-oxidized at a glassy carbon electrode, and its product has a characteristic fluorescence at 416 nm with excitation wavelength at 300 nm.Under the optimum conditions, the fluorescence generated with electro-oxidation was proportional to the concentration of acetaminophen over the range from 0.080?.50 mg/L with a 0.027 mg/L detection limit. The relative standard deviation was less than 2.51%(n=5)and the recovery was in the range of 98.2-103.5%for the determination of PCM in pharmaceutical preparations. The presented method has good selectivity, high sensitivity and low detection because of the combination of electrochemistry and fluorescent spectrophotometry.
