As one of the key parts in the sheet ?feed press , the kinematics and dynamics properties of sheet transfer mechanism directly influence the quality of press product and the speed of press . The offset press with the intermittent rotary sheet transfer mechanism (such as : RAPIDA ?SR III) can reach the speed of 15000 sheets per hour and still having the good quality of press product . Whereas this kind of sheet transfer mechanism hasn' t been adopted in the press manufacturing industry of our country , and there few research in this field . The author carried on research and analysis of this king of sheet transfer mechanism by using the intermittent rotary sheet transfer mechanism driven by pulley with 5 grooves and 3 groove pins as example , and providing theoretical basis for the design and manufacture of this kind of sheet transfer mechanism . The main done in this paper as follows:(1) On the basis of rigidity hypothesis , the author analysis the kinetic properties of intermittent rotary sheet transfer mechanism with The Vector Method .(2) The author provided the necessary basis for the design and manufacture of intermittent rotary sheet transfer mechanism by analyzing the influence of component error and clearance to the kinetic properties of sheet transfer mechanism , and the main factors which influence the precision of the sheet transfer mechanism .(3) The author establishes the dynamics model of this sheet transfer mechanism , and analyses the influence of the elasticity of each component and the grooved pulley pair clearance to the dynamic properties of sheetmechanism . The author obtains the main factors which influence the property of intermittent rotary sheet transfer mechanism , and provides the way to reduce the dynamic load for the design of this kind of sheet transfer mechanism .(4) The author analyses the whole system by using the MATLAB software to emulate it, and obtains the emulation curve which approximates to actual kinetic curve , then gets the conclusion from it .From above all , the author not only confirms kinetic steadiness and exactness of intermittent rotary sheet transfer mechanism when delivering sheet, but also obtain all the main factors which influence the kinetic and dynamics properties of this kind of sheet transfer mechanism , this provides new idea and way for the developing requirement of modern press and designing high performance sheet transfer mechanism .
