| On-line inspection for machining center is one of the key technologies to improve precision and automation of machining center. Based on the recent developments of on-line inspection for machining center and computer aided design computer simulation curve inspection, automatic programming for on-line inspection is studied thoroughly here based on CAD technology.1.The application for CAD technology in practice is analyzed synthetically, the importance of CAD technology in modern product design is realized, and the idea that inspection is accomplished in design period is stated.2.AutoCAD R14.0 is selected as the exploitation platform through synthetical comparison, and the integrated system for on-line inspection and CAD technology is established taking advantage of ObjectARX.3.The simulation system of on-line inspection for machining center is established which is the development direction after the integrated system has been established.4.The curve inspecting method is studied according to CAD, and a new inspecting method is put forward, which make on-line inspection become design person's useful tool.5.The automatic programming system for on-line inspection is designed primarily, and parameter programming, graph programming and simulation are intergrated.
