In this thesis, the method of electromagnetic centrifugal casting is applied firstly to manufacture A12O3 short fibre/cast iron matrix composite .The effects of rotational rate for centrifugation and magnetic density are studied. The number of fibre and graphite increasing, the flake of pearlite decreasing, with the increasing of rotational speed of casting model. The more magnetic density the more number and distributing of fibre and the less number and crassitude of graphite. At the same time, the graphite type change from B to A, the flake of pearlite increasing. In the end, synthesis the effect on resist intention of composite by rotational speed and magnetic density, as it show, the more rotational speed and magnetic density, the more resist intention the composites.
