Generator pole, which has many varieties and complex shape, is the key accessory of automobile generator and has strict limit in its size and quality, so it is difficult to produce. It is urgent to solve that how to produce it efficiently and economically.In this paper, basing on the forming theory of obturated-extrusion, in the guide of the idea on ductility processing of complex components, combining multiple-forming technology and aiming at generator pole's feature, the combined warm-cold extrusion processing of generator pole-warm obturated-extrusion and precision shaped, is framed, the finite-element model of the key working procedure is found and the formulation of forming force is deduced. On the basis of the above, the warm obturated-extrusion procedure is comprehensively studied through numerical simulation and physical simulation experiment, the rule of metal flowing and the distribution of stress and strain are obtained, the force-stroke curve is drawn. In addition, the working procedure parameter's effect on the metal flowing, stress and strain, forming quality and forming force is studied, the structure of die is optimized and the feasibility of the working procedure is verified.This new combined warm-cold extrusion processing of generator pole not only simplified the generator pole's working procedure and reduced its producing cost, it is possible to make this accessory produced in china, but first achieved that the metal flow from level to vertical in the cavity of die, this enlarges the obturated-extrusion applying range and provides experience for procession forming of the similar branch accessory.
