Numerical simulation is one of the most important methods to reduce the fuel consumption and raise the efficiency of glass furnaces.Based on the understanding of the regenerator.the numeric module of the temperature field and the heat flow through the glass furnaces regenerator has been established and ifs solbing method has been worked out on which the feasibility and the calculation of the valuation index of the effect of the heat.The selection of brick,the construction,the diaxneter.thedimension, and the thick of brick has been discussed,diagram has been drawn for the reference ofoptimum design of the glass furnace regeneratorafter the discussion of the relationships of the effection of heat.In this paper,a practical 3 dimensional mathematical model of cirulation and heat transfer in the generator of glass melting furnaces was formulated.The model was based on the heat transfer between the smoke flow and the lattice units,the air flow and the lattice units.This model not only got over the diffcultv of complicated computation of heat transfer process in regenerator of glass furnaces,but also avoided the irrationality caused by fixing the temperature distribution on the surfaces.Based on above.we can get very important datas and also the method of design regenerator of the glass furnaces.Also we can design the better effficient one through the conparisons.It's very important to the practical production.
