One of the important tasks in pultrusion is the selection of appropriate processing parameters, so that the resin which stayed in die can be cured completely, and on the basis of guarantee composite quality to improve manufacture efficiency. Due to unfamiliar with the change that happened in the die, the traditional curing cycle control only based on empirical approach. Unstabilized performance during the manufacturing procedure, wide quality dispersion and high rate of spoiled all lead to the high cost of production and the low efficiency. All of these problems exist for long time. So it's very important to discover the change of unsteady temperature and degree of cure in the pultrusion for design the pultruded process. In order to against the characteristic of pultrusion, on the basis of curing mechanism of epoxy resin, two mathematical models about temperature distribution and curing degree variation are established by thermal conduction and curing kinetics theory in this paper. By using differential scanning calorimetry thermal flux based of epoxy in curing process is measured, and calculate of fit about epoxy's kinetics parameters by using Origin software. Through finite element technique the equation of thermal conduction and curing kinetics are discerted to ordinary differential equation in both time domain and spatial domain. The coupled equation between temperature and curing degree is solved by using Eular-Cauch step-by-step iterative method. Utilization of FEPG soft to simulate pultrusion process, and can forecast the change of temperature or degree of cure in the pultrusion's die.Simulate and analysis many different processing parameters that the effect of temperature and degree of cure such as initial temperature, die temperature, pull speed and fiber volume by using finite element program generator soft. This provide theoretical basis for optimizing practical process parameter. This paper also contrast the results of FEPG simulation with reference's data, both of them are anastomotic, so it proof FEPG's trueness and reliability. The several parts of this paper which are mathematical model, parameters determination, solve equations using mathematical method and using soft...
