Study On The Cast-in-face Process For Producing The Composites In Face

This article studied the Cast-in-face process of Fast-dry coatings for producing the metal matrix composites in face. Through a lot of experiments, we invented a new sort of Fast-dry coatings for Cast-in-face; analyzed the main process factors of compositing layers in metal matrix composites; discussed the mechanism of Cast-in-face process.The results prove that, the iron matrix composites in face is produced which have the properties such as: resisting abrasion -oxidation and erosion. This is a simple economic and promising process. Pouring temperature is the dominating factor for the properties of compositing layers. Cast-in-face process is a comprehensive thermodynamic and kinetic process, the research on Cast-in-face must relate to the different structure and composition of the compositing layers.
