Establishment Of Mountain Environment Database And Study On Compositive Genesis Of Mountain Disasters In QingYuan County

Because of complicated geological tectonics and changeful mountain ecological environment, China is one of the countries which suffer form the most serious mountain disasters. Zhejiang is a province in the southeast pat of China. Covered with many mountains and hills, and filled with high intensity and long-lasting rainfall, Zhejiang is gradually become an area where a large number of mountain disasters occur and has been amplifying by irrational human activity..The mountain disasters is a compositive result of the action of many mountain environmental factor together. The land resource type is a synthesis formed of climate, topography, hydrology, soil and organisms etc in a long experience. So, it can be choosed to reflect the compositive genesis of mountain disasters. In this study, Qingyuan county, characterized by serious landslide, landslip and debris flow, is selected as a case to study the contributing factors of mountain disasters and form the land resource type to accomplish the integration of genesis of mountain disasters. Main contents of the study are:?Based on the mountain disasters investigation in typical counties in Zhejiang province and the general survey data of hazards in Qingyuan county, the author selected geological structure, land use patter, soil type, topography and rainfall as the contributing factors of mountain disasters.nder the support of CIS, the database of mountain disasters andmountain environment factors are established.By means of Arc/Info, with the superposition of the mountain disasters and mountain environment factors, the relationship between them is studied.Based on the analysis of contribution of environment factors to mountain disasters, the author select land use pattern, soil type and topography which mainly affect the occurrence of mountain disasters as the composing elements of land resource type. And form the database of land resource type by using the three database of mountain environment factors which has been selected.Under the support of Arc/Info, by overlaping the mountain disasters on the land resource type, the density of disasters and ratio of disaster occurrence are gained. Then, divide the grades of the tendency of disaster occurrence and accomplish the integration of genesis of mountain disasters.
