Some researches have been done on the fluorescence, UV-Vis, electrochemistry, IR, GC/MS and XPS of piaselenoles and their self-assembled monolayers. Some important results are as follows:1. The absorption wavelength of piaselenoles were bathochromic-shift and their molar absorption increased with the increased conjugative effect; Sn(IV) made UV-Vis absorption of piaselenoles in higher frequencies enhance with the ratio of n sn civ /nps at 1; The UV-Vis absorption of BP were obviously enhanced by Sn(IV), Cd(ll), Cr(III), Sb(III), Fe(III), Fe(II) and Cu(II), while Zn(II) had little effect on the UV of BP. The UV absorption ,of piaselenoles at higher frequencies were enhanced by Sn(IV), Cr(III) and Sb(III).2. When the conjugative effect of piaselenoles increased, the emission spectrum moved regularly to lower frequencies; Sn(IV) caused luminescence of piaselenoles more sensitive. Cr(III), Cd( II), Cu( II), Sb(III) and Sn(IV) had fluorescence enhancement to BP. The fluorescence of BP was reduced when increasing the concentration of Fe(III) or Fe( II). Zn( II) had little effect on the fluorescence of BP.3. The heterocyclic selenium compounds of BP and AS have been formed self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) on gold surface. The results of XPS method indicated that energy margin of Se3d with SAMs and BP powder was -O.SeV, which proved that the gold surface had been assembled by BP molecule. The cyclic voltammetry results showed the peaks of the oxidation and reduction of Fe(CN)63-/4-almost disappeared after the Au electrode was covered by a monolayer of BP due to forming of SAMs, but AS didn't. The reduction peak potentials of the BP and AS were respectively -661mV and -659mV in the NaiB solution with the modified gold electrode.4. The irreversible reduction peaks of piaselenoles were gained, and the reduction peak potentials of BP, AS, DP, DBP, MP and PS were respectively -629mV,-704mV, -691mV, -795 mV, -733 mV r -659mV in Na2B4O7- ethanol solution when scan rate was 100 mV/ s. The reduction peak potential of piaselenoles varied regularly. The course was cortrolled by absorption in 28407- ethanol solution.
