Wth the raPid development of deercultIJre, the hemostalia for sawed antler has becomemore and more importdrit. At the sarne time, the stUdy and utilization of hemostatic medicinehave been highlighted more and more by the scientistS and the culturists. In this stUdy TheSodium humate, Agrimony, ArboroitaC leaves and Potassium permanganate were seIected tocompose the compound by the tissue strUcture and the haemorrhage characteristic of antleLThe principle of se1ection is as followst the resource of the medicine is wide, the price is lowthe effect is best and the medicine shouId have the qualities of anti-infection, absorPtion andropy property. From the former experimentation, we screened out the best compound whoseeffect was tested by the hemostatic experimentation of several species of animals.The resuIt of hemostatic experimentation on mouse showed that the hemostasia time fOrthe best compound, BairianPi, Qilisan and yUnnanbaboo was l80.4f2.88s, 177.8 i 3.1 l s,2l2.2 f 5. l7s and 244.8 i4.38s respectively T'he result of variance analysis showed that thehemostatic effect of best compound was significantly different from Bairtwi and Qilisan(p<0.0l), but had no notable difference from yunnanbahao (p>0.05). The result of hemostaticexperimentation on goats' auditive vein was as followsf328.88 i l 1 .78s fOr the best compound,375.l4 i l l.52s Baixmpi, which showed that the tWo medicines had the remarkabIedifference (p<0.01).In the sorPtion experimentation of the medicines, the blood sorPtion of 3g Rongrueling,BaisianPi, Qilisan was 20.33 l l .04ml, l8.33 I 1.04ml and l5. l7 l 1 .26ml respectively. Theresult of variance anaIysis showed that the sorPtion quality of ROngruehag was better than thatof Qilisan, but it had no significant difference from Baixmpi (p>0.05). ln the ropy propertyexperimentation, the ropy quaIity of Rongxuehag was the best, which had the remarkabIedifference from that of the BaicianPi and Qdisan (p<0.0l). The result of skin irritationexperimentation showed that Rongrueting had no irritation in vitro, so did the muscle irritationexperimentation. In the hypersensitive experimentation of the medicines, Rongxuehag (0. l g/ml)had some antibacteria effectS on Staphlococcus, Escherichia coli, Baci1lus and Streptococcus,and the average diameters of anibacterial circles were all over 20mm, which showed thatRongxuehag had the better effectS of antibacteria than the other medicines. The hemostaticeffect of Rongxuehag and Qillkan was compared in hemostatic exPerimentation on antler Theresult showed that under the same condihon, Rongxuettw had better effect on the most typesof antlers than Qilisan with the signifian difference(p<0.0l) except the Matao type. T'hehemostatic time of Rongxuehag was about a half of Qdisan.ln summery Rongxuehag has many qualities such as high ropy property antibacteria,good hemostatic effect, low price and convenient utiliZaion, which are not held by the otherusuaI medicines. A1l these qualities show that Rongxuehag has valuable material in scienceand practice.
