Firstly,the research situations about the disposal of oily wastcwatcr arc presented,and the mechanism of the traditional flotation is introduced. Secondly,the mechanism of negative pressure air flotation with blade and air-water-mixing air flotation are discussed in the ways:the generating of gas bubble,the adherence of gas bubble and suspended matter,ascending and parting. The advantages and disadvantages of the negative pressure air flotation with blade and air-water-mixing air flotation and the primary factors determining the disposal efficiency of negative pressure flotation are also presented. Thirdly,the technical parameters of the laboratory equipment are measured;the primary parameters are the diameter of gas bubble,the disposal efficiency,the disposal speed,the speed of revolution and the depth of blade in the water. And the results show that the disposal efficiency for oil has been 95%,the disposal efficiency for SS has been 90%. The relation of the disposal efficiency for oil and the speed of revolution is discussed,the optimal speed of revolution has firstly been introduced. Then the relation of optimal speed of revolution and the depth of blade in water is also discussed. At last,the advantages of the negative flotation are summarized:smaller necessary area;more economical;easier operation and maintenance;more efficient;better work-condition. The economical and social effect is also presented.
