On the basis of surveying molasses alcohol waste water controlling approaches and internal electrolysis method and catalytic oxidation technology on industrial waste water inside and outside country, molasses alcohol waste water treated by internal electrolysis-catalytic oxidation technology was studied in this paper. It mainly included making of catalyst, treatment and mechanism of waste water by this technology. The study showed that the technology was in possession of the prominent virtues, such as high treatment efficiency, simple processing equipment, operation conditions controlled easily, etc. So it can provide new thoughts and pathways for industrialization treatment of molasses alcohol waste water and will be endowed with extensive application prospect in the molasses alcohol waste water treatment. The main contents of experiment were as follow:The supported catalyst can be obtained by activated carbon impregnated with solution of catalytic raw material during making catalyst. On the basis of literature, using COD decreasing rate of molasses alcohol waste water as target, the optimum condition of the catalytic raw material of copper nitrate supported by activated carbon is made up of impregnating with 7.5% solution of Cu(NO3)2 for 12h and fixing 6 h at 120 C and calcining 10-14h at 260-300 C. The catalyst of AC1 , AC2 and AC3 were made in the optimum condition in order to screen. And at the same time based on the technology ofcatalytic system, the used catalyst of Cu-AC was regenerated and applied to the treatment of molasses alcohol waste water.Using AC1 as catalyst, factors affecting COD decreasing rate in treating molasses alcohol waste water by internal electrolysis-catalytic oxidation process were studied , such as reaction time , waste water concentration ,initial pH value, temperature. And on the basis of mono-factor test, using COD decreasing rate and decolour rate as targets, six factors affecting catalytic effect were selected to proceed L9(34) orthogonal experiments. The conclusion of primary and secondary factors was drawn and the turn was : kind of catalyst-amount of catalyst-pH value-temperature-amount of H2O2-amount of air . The optimization were determined to be : initial pH value : 5.5 ; temperatare : 90 C; amount of H2O2: lml/400ml waste water ; kind of catalyst: AC3 ; inciting small amount of air ; amount of catalyst: 125g activated carbon to 500g stone . And optimum experiment was carried out on this condition.In addition ,the mechanism of internal electrolysis-catalytic oxidation technology treating molasses alcohol waste water was discussed at the fist time. On the basis of internal electrolysis method, effect was increased by adding catalytic raw material of Cu(NO3)2 and Fe(NO3)2 in activated carbon , adding H2O2 oxidizer and increasing electric field intensity of internal electrolysis method. Free radical possessing strong oxidation was induced and intensified by physical-chemical reaction of organic chemistry , which in turn leaded to oxidize organic chemistry and increased the efficiency of internal electrolysis reactor.
