Study On The Ecological Planning Of Green Area System Of Zhangjiajie City

With the development of cities, the ecological construction of the cities has been a hot point. The protection and development of ecological green space have become the important measure to solve the city problems. As a new tourism city, Zhangjiajie urged to solve the environmental problems resulting from the urban expanding. To prepare a scientific and suitable green area plan is an urged work.To find a planning methodology of urban green area system which is matched with the urban development in 21st century, a practical urban green area system planning has been carried out with ecological planning which is the new thought and concept in landscape planning. Take Zhangjiajie as an example; based on the GIS and computer technology, the inventory of green area in the city was made with remote sensing. The urban green area map and related attribute data were obtained. The ecological sensitiveness, suitability, and landscape distribution have been analyzed with GIS. The strength, weakness, and the frame of greening construction have been concluded on the base of complete and quantified analysis. Based on the data and under the urban image determining of Zhangjiajie, the structural planning of urban green area system has been studied deeply. The idea, ring net ecological distribution composed primarily with "corridor green belt" is the best structure to form the "forest city" in Zhangjiajie City, which is suitable for the circumstance of the city and meets the ecological planning theory. Under the structure frame, studies have been stressed on the present green corridor of road, tree species planning, and landscape planning. Planed combining tourism plan has been put forward in practical planning of belt around the city. The planning of green corridor watersides and tree species in city green area has been tried.Based on such application technology as RS and GIS, the theory of planning provides a good theory and methodology for urban green area system planning. The planning not only make the effect and reasonable use of all resources and raise the urban green area planning level but also make the ecological function, economic, and social effect of the green lands be highly concord. This will promote the development of theory and technology of urban green area planning.The paper can provide basic materials, theoretical guide and referenced plan for urban green area planning and city construction of Zhangjiajie, and be advisor for local city construction and economical development.
