After the analysis of the background of the Loess Plateau, the author claimed that architects should notice the human memory recovery in the traditional mountainous villages on the loess plateau. It is not only a research of the importance but also a deep thought over the method of memory protect has been done in this paper .The author concluded that the Loess Plateau would like to see both ecologic memory and the form memory in the mountainous villages be protect, which would be benefit to the protect of both ecologic and human heritage, leading to a duty of common people, in spite of the work of government and architects,Thus we have to focus on the research of ecologic memory object, including ecologic tectonic method, and the strength of informing ecologic importance to the memory subject, human beings, to protect the human ecologic memory.To keep the form memory, we should first make human on the loess plateau have self-evidence in the traditional mountainous village form, and then we might achieve the point to keep it with the support of architectural typology.
