In some high gas mines, the tail-gate to drain gas from the fully mechanized working face is effected by the mining abutment from two working face. It bring to a great effect on the tail-gate stability. The properties of rock masses, and the deformation, the destruction of the tail-gate, and distribution of supporting pressure under the influence of mining, effect the stability of tail-get directly. So the study of the deformation, the destruction of the tail-gate and the distribution law of supporting pressure has great practicality significance. Difficult to observe supporting pressure and deformation directly in working site and reliable test technique lacking cause very difficulty to study the effect law of the deformation, destruction and support pressure while mining. So this article studied the deformation, the destruction and the supporting pressure distribution law of the soft-rock tail-gate under physics environment of in Tunlan-mine. The main content and conclusions are as follows:1) The basic theory, calculation methods of the finite difference and the building of 3-D numerical model have been studied.2) According to geological characteristic and geometry characteristic of No. 12206 working face in Tunlan mine. The three dimension numerical model simulating the fully-mechanized working is built by the finite difference method.3) According to a large amount of numerical experimentation, analyzing the results of calculation of supporting pressure and deformation under mining effect on the tail gate, the law of deformation and supporting pressure distribution is got.4) Analyzing the law of supporting pressure and deformation under different supporting conditions when it has mining influence or not in tail-gate, it can controls the deformation and destruction of tail-gate found that bolt in floor, in the roof and in the sides effectively.
