Transition metal complexes have become a intersectant subject and foreland field for their special properties such as characterizations in light, electricity, magnetism, catalysis and biochemistry. The nitrogen complexes have been applied diffusely in synthesis and research of transition metal complexes for their better cooperation capability. In this dissertation, four kinds of complexes were synthesized with the microelement such as Ni (II ),Co (II ),Cu (II) and Mn( II) in body as center ion, and the biological active ligands phenanthroline and dicyanamide anion [N(CN)2]~ as nitrogen ligands. The complexes have been characterized by IR spectrum , UV spectrum and X-ray diffraction. The electrochemical behaviour of Co( II )-Phenanthroline-Water ternary complex was studied by cyclic voltammetry. The research of Copper( II )-amino acid complexes have important academic meaning and applied value for their biochemical activities. In this dissertation the ultraviolet spectrum of Copper( II), ten kinds of a -amino acids and their complexes was studied under biological environment and electrochemical behaviour at glass carbon electrode modified with mercury film and golden electrode was discussed by cyclic voltammetry. The composition of the complexes was determined by the method ofspectrometry. The research of calf thymus DNA(ct-DNA) with complexes as probes has aroused extensive attention . In this dissertation the interaction between the Copper( II )-Phenyl alanine complex and DNA was studied principly by the method of UV spectrometry and cyclic voltammetry.
