Based on the previous heavy metal chelating agent (DTCR), a novel flocculant using nanomaterial with natural organic polymer (NFSH) was prepared by innovating the synthesis technology and using natural organic polymer(CTS) and nanomaterial as raw materials. Different factors such as ratio of materials, temperature, pH, reaction time and so on, which influence performance of flocculant were investigated. The optimal condition of synthesis technology was obtained , and the synthetic mechanism of this novel flocculant and its chelating mechanism were also discussed in this paper. With optimal synthetic condition, the molecular weight of novel flocculant is greater than 100,000 and its purity is over 99%.The optimal condition and flow of wastewater treatment by using NFSH in treatment of five different kinds of wastewater was selected . The comparison of effect and cost of treatment between NFSH and rest wastewater reagent was also carried out. The results showed it is effective to treat wastewater by using this novel flocculant, and the treated wastewater can reach the wastewater discharge standards, reduce the formation and moisture of sludge, be free of secondary pollution and simplify the post-treatment.
