Research On Synthesize Of CPU And Its Qualities

Polyurethane(PU) elastomer is a polymer synthesis material which there are many urethane link in the main chain. PU elastomer is synthesized by polyester(diol) or polyether(diol) with diisocyanate and MOCA. PU elastomer is a material between rubber and plastic, which have the high elaticity of rubber and the high intersion of plastic. It have a big tensibility and a large range of rigidity, also it have excenllent endurement of grind, biology compatibility and blood compatibility. Meanwhile it have some other excellent qualities, such as endurement of oil. low tempereture and radiation. So, PU elastomer has a wide application field.PU elastomer have all kinds of qualities, which have a good link with its structure, while PU elastomer's structure is decided by many factors. Even the little change of the content of water can cause great diffrence of the qualities of PU elastomer. The destination of this paper is to synthesize PU elastomer and find out the relations between its structure and its qualities.In this paper, we adopt prepolymer method to synthesize casting PU elastomer. After having read a great deal literature, and considered all kinds of factors, we succeeded in synthesize the PU elastomer. On this base, we study the influence of percent NCO in prepolymer and quantity of chain extender on the qualities of product. These qualities are mainly mechanism qualities, including rigidity, flexibility, die C tear strength, and so on. And from that, we can get the conclussion.
