In present,There are many kinds of the configuration size design methods of cyclone separator in domestic and abroad,but they are experimental and half-experimental. The former has no mathmatical model,The later s mathmatical model isn t perfect. According to present situation,this thesis is based on Leith s design method,improves it and figures out the optimum design of cyclone separator in methmatical theory. The integratively mathmatical model of optimum design is established,which includes optimum design variable,aim function,restraining condition and performance of cyclone separator. The mathmatical model is soluted by the coding in Visual C++ on computer. In the end,we obtain the optimum configuration size of cyclone separator which conforms to the design needs. The conclusion is validated through experiment and theory.
