Currently,the separation performance of multicyclone separator used in gas transmission station is unsatisfactory.On the one hand,due to the use of multi circumference arrangement with small cyclone tubes,that causes small amount of processing.On the other hand,the flow area of the single cyclone tube is small and blocked easily,which is likely to cause overload operation of the downstream filter separator,and may also cause the failure of metering equipment and pressure regulating equipment.At the same time,maintenance is not convenient.These problems directly lead to the increase of operation cost.In view of the above problems,based on computational fluid dynamics and structural statics,this paper combines numerical simulation,finite element analysis and theoretical analysis.simulated and analyzed the flow field of single cyclone separator and multicyclone separator,then the structural strength analysis is carried out on the multicyclone separator.The specific research contents are as follows:(1)According to the flow field analysis,the RSM turbulence model is used to analyze the distribution characteristics of the gas phase pressure field and velocity field of the cyclone separators,and the distribution law of the gas phase flow field is obtained.(2)Based on the study of the dust hopper remixing and inhomogeneity of the multicyclone separator,it is concluded that this structure separator does not have the phenomenon of gray bucket return mixing and inhomogeneous air intake.(3)By analyzing the classification efficiency and pressure drop of cyclone tube and multi cyclone separator.It is concluded that the cyclone tube can completely separate the solid particles above 8 ?m,and the multi tube separator can only separate the solid particles above 10 ?m completely,and the separation efficiency of multiple tubes accounts for about 92% of the single tube,as the same time,the 80%~90% of multi tube pressure drop all comes from single tube cyclone separator.(4)According to the structural analysis,the stress linearization method is adopted to evaluate the stress linearization of the cyclone separators.The results show that the overall stress accords with the design requirements.
