Studies On The Active Chemical Constituents And Pharmacology For The Leaves Of Mangifera Persiciformis C.y.Wu Et T.L.Ming

As everyone knows:Mango Cough Tablet is effective for sore throat ,influenza,coughchronic bronchitis and much sputum, Mangifera Persiciformis c.y.Wu et T.L.Ming which is abundant in Guangxi is in the same family and genera with mango tree, Whether the leaves of the Mangifera Persiciformis c.y. Wu et T.L.Ming have the similar chemical constituents and similer curative effect with that of the mango tree? According to this question, we have done the following research .1. Studies on the ways to extract, isolate and identify of the chemical constituents of the Mangifera Persiciformis c.y. Wu et T.L.Ming leaves.2. Studies on the ways of content measurement of the effective chemical constituents.3. Studies on the ways to extract and purify the mangiferin in the Mangifera Persiciformis c.y. Wu et T.L.Ming leaves.4. Studies on the extracting technology of the Mangifera Persiciformis c.y. Wu et T.L.Ming leaves.5. Studies on pharmacology of the extracting material of the Mangifera Persiciformis c.y. Wu et T.L.Ming leaves.The author has isolated and identified six ingredients from theMangifera Persiciformis c.y. Wu et T.L.Ming leaves,they are taraxerol ,friedelin,phytosterol, mangiferin,gallic acid and quercetin. Among them, gallic acid was isolated from the Mangifera Persiciformis c.y. Wu et T.L.Ming leaves for the first time .It is the first time to set up the measurement way of the effective chemical constituents ,mangiferin and gallic acid, in the Mangifera Persiciformis c.y. Wu et T.L.Ming leaves; we have put forward the ways to extract,isolate and purify the mangiferin in the Mangifera Persiciformis c.y. Wu et T.L.Ming leaves, and have researched of the application of Microwave-assisted extraction process in extracting the mangiferin; It is the first time to advance such extracting techonology which take the content of gallic acid as standard,which make a great progress than that of taking the rate of medicinal extract as standard, the Mangifera Persiciformis c.y. Wu et T.L.Ming leaves and mango leaves have the similar curative effect by means of pharmacology ,so it is helpful for widening the medicinal herbs resources , exploring plant resources, and increasing farmer' s income.
