In this thesis, constitution, properties of silk and crease reason of silk fabrics were reviewed The development history of crease-resistance and antibiotic finishing was discussed On the basis of our group's research work, this paper tried to degrade chitosan using H2O2 oxidation method. The effect of degradation conditions such as H2O2 concentration, media concentation, reaction time and reaction temperature on physical properties of degraded products, for example, the degree of deacetylation, instinct viscosity, molecular weight and the color change of products were studied. Through orthogonal experiments, the optimal degradation process parameters of chitosan were revealed as follows: H2Q2 concentration of 3.5%, reaction temperature of of 50@, reaction time of 2 hr, CHsCOOH concentration of 4.5%. In order to improve the wrinkle resistant effect of chitosan, and solve the problems such as weak wet property and stiff hand feeling caused by treating silk fabrics directly with degraded chitosan, this paper tried through the following three points. On the one hand, this paper studied solution capability of chitosan in citric acid liquor, applied citric acid solution of chitosan on silk fabrics and tested the washing fastness, the physical performance of finished products. It was revealed that chitosan could well be smelted in citric acid liquor under room temperature, chitosan and citric acid had good co-operative effect in one bath. Citric acid liquor of chitosan not only had apparent crease-resistance effect on silk fabric but also brought bake temperature down. This had great significance on yellowness phenomena of silk fabric because of high bake temperature. Through IR analyse of chitosan, silk and silk finished with chitosan, it revealed that chitosan is absorbed on the silk fibre because of chemical reactioa Through experiments, the optimal finishing process parameters were revealed as follows: citric acid concentration of 9%, chitosan concentration of 0.25%, citric acid : hypophosphite compoud of 1:1, (concentration ratio), tri-ehtanolamine concentration of 3%, reaction temperature of of 160@, reaction time of 2.5 min. On the other hand, Degraded chitosan with different concentration was applied on silk fabric. Results revealed that degraded chitosan make silk have bigger WCRA and better hand feeling and weak wet property. Crease-resistance effects incresed with the increment of concentration and the increment of concentration. In the third side, citric acid was added to degraded chitosan finishing liquor and they were finished in the same bath on silk fabric. It showed that crease recovery angle was greatly improved at the condition of citric acid concentration of 7%, chitosan concentration of 0.5%, while at the same time having no effect on fabric whiteness, the hand feeling of finishing fabrics was also improved. However, we found the washing fastness was to be increased.Shaking culture method was used to test the antibiotic performance of finished fabrics. Experiment results showed that silk fabric had certain antibiotic effects. Silk finished by chitosan had better antibiotic effects than silk haven't been finished in the limited degree. Antibiotic effects of finished fabric incresed with the increment of concentration and the decrement of molecular.
