Oil recovery percentage can be affected by two factors, namely reservoir geological natures and its developing means. Because of limited efficiency of water flushing, Most of reservoirs are maturing waterflooded in China now, water-cut in oil well exceed 90%, maximum WOR has been reached even, Operators pay more attention to the oil recovery percentage of original oil in-place when few new oil fields can be found in the world. They focus on formation conformance efficiency and flushing efficiency, and all the recovery techniques are based on these two respects, and the corresponding techniques are called tertiary recovery or Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR).Formation conformance efficiency can be increased by decreased mobility ratio of displacing fluid and oil, and then the formation heterogeneous can be modified, some techniques like polymer flooding can used for this condition. Flushing efficiency of displacing fluid can be increased by eliminating or decreased surface tense between displacing fluid and oil, and then residual oil can be decreased dramatically, some recovery means like miscible flooding and surfactant flooding can be used. Because of cost of EOR, feasibility of economic evaluation is often marginal, so all the operators are interesting in less cost recovery means.A new displacing agent called Molecule deposition (MD) has been found because of its less amount used as additives in water, and it is attractive in field pilot of X-53 block. In order to screening optimum agent concentration and injection PV amount and injection rate, some core displacing experiment has been performed, and MD flooding mathematical model has been built in this paper, and then reservoir numerical simulation has been promoted for waterflooding in X-209 block, remaining oil has been obtained. MD flooding simulation has also been performed and optimization theory has been used to find optimum agent concentration and injection PV amount and injection rate. It has been shown that optimum agent concentration is 450 mg/L and injection amount is 0.017PV, and maximum oil incremental can be obtained. |
