The coal ash is a kind of industry solid waste made from coal power station, and over 100 hundred million tons coal ash is produced in the world every year, and they severely threaten the earth environment, and so how to make use of the coal ash have already become a big lesson which we must face in the new century. This text explores new thinking way of comprehensively utilizing coal ash and makes into a good composite.This text makes foam composite of phosphate with two steps. The first step is to make basic composite. The conditions affecting mechanics function of the composite are found by orthogonal experiments .The amount of phosphoric acid and melt-able material more affect mechanics function of the composite. On the basis of the basic composite of coal ash phosphate, the foamy composite is made in the methods of physical and chemical foaming. By orthogonal experiments, physical foaming is better than chemical foaming. Finally the foam composite of coal ash phosphate is analyzed in the way of mechanical properties, physical properties and make-up. By better experiments, the best technological conditions are found. The best amount of the coal ash is 100 parts; the best amount of the melt-able material is 2.75 parts; the best amount of the phosphoric acid (64. 7%)is 50 parts;the highest burning temperature is 1050癈.The density of foamy composite is 0.796 g/cm3. The mechanical properties of the composites have agreed to GB5101-85. The foam composite can be applied in the thermal insulation material, light wall material. It is a good approach for coal ash to realize the use as a high extra gain.
