Coal dust is combustible substance with explosive properties, which are inhaled can cause pneumoconiosis, affecting the health of mine workers, the study dust agent imminent. Foam dust suppression agent is a research hotspots, the main agent using polymer surfactant, with water absorption, moisture and binding effect. The subject of the thesis is to prepare a new foam dust suppression agent suitable for underground working face, and study the performance and dust suppression efficiency of the new foam dust suppression agent.With starch and polymeric alcohol as raw materials to synthesis a kind of polymer surfactant. On the m(starch): m(polymeric alcohol) =1:2, reaction time 150 min, reaction temperature 130 ?, conversion rate of starch was the highest. The polymer surfactant had good solubility in ethylene glycol and water, and the critical micelle concentration was 2.31 g/L.Through the infrared spectrum analysis, products containing functional groups are consistent with the structure of the target product.Synthetic surfactant as the main agent, compounded with the foaming agent, flocculant and wetting agent to prepare the new foam dust suppression agents. Surface tension, moisture rate and moisture absorption rate of surfactant as the evaluation index, to determine the surface activity, moisturizing and hygroscopic. Selected foaming agent for 0.6 % sodium alkyl sulfate and 0.5 % starch glycoside products as the main agent, determine the mass ratio of 0.25:1 and0.3:1. Suitable adding ratio of the stable foam agent 1.0 % amide class were 0.08/0.10/0.12, the quality of the wetting agent 1.0 % sodium silicate was 0.16. By changing the adding proportion of foaming agent and stabilizing agent identified 6 dust suppression agent formula.Through lab homemade dust device to detect different formulations of dust fall efficiency,detecting its under different height, temperature and time to the influence of different coal, by compared with traditional foam dust suppression agent, the dust efficiency of the new type foam dust suppression agent was increased 5 %, and to determine the optimal formula of foam dust suppression agent: foaming agent quality ratio of 0.25, stable foam agent quality ratio of0.08, wetting agent quality ratio of 0.16.Traditional foam dust suppression agent and new type foam dust suppression agent cost estimates showed that the new type of foam dust suppression agent can not only greatly improve the efficiency of dust, but also can effectively reduce the cost.
