This research presents a new industrial processing equipment of biaxial stretching PVC-U pipes (including extrusion mold, diameter control unit, expansion equipment, oven, draught equipment, cool equipment and cutting equipment, having got the two patents). To verify the reliability of the equipment, the author designed a relevant and special biaxial stretching experiment equipment and did experiments to research its function. This paper lucubrates the self-reinforcement mechanism of polymer material biaxial stretching. By the explosion experiment and SEM test of the biaxial stretching PVC-U pipes which were made from the experiment equipment, the author finds that the explosion stress of it is 70.13MPa which is 37.56 percent higher than that of the single axial stretching PVC-U pipe, and there is only tenacity breach but no rapid crack propagation on the biaxial stretching PVC-U pipes when it is expanded once more. Theoretic analysis and experiment research all indicate that the biaxial stretching PVC-U pipes can well prevent rapid crack propagation. Through the experiment, the author finds the best processing conditions for industry.
